Magic Hour

It is magic hour, the last hour of the day, at least the final moments of dusk before the sun slips away to the other side of the earth.  It is the conclusion of a day when the western sky is decorated with a million vibrant colors and we are able to reflect upon this day, our own lives, and the future.  Magic hour is an hour of meditation when we are taken away from one reality to the reality of the moment that this is our life we are living now, and must take advantage of every minute.   The sun is disappearing away into the horizon; and we just want to stop to silently gaze into the abyss as we wish time could be captured and re-lived over and over as we will never retrieve this moment again.  We realize life is so valuable we must live every minute with urgency as we discover our life is sacred to be lived as an emergency before our time of shining on this earth slips away as well.

As we view the many luminous colors decorating the clouds, we choose to enter the inner-recesses of our minds seeking out every corner and brushing away all the un-necessary trivia and choosing to only consider what is significant.  We choose thoughts of loving and giving.  We rediscover what we were created to be rather than what we have become.  We select to become more worthy and realize we must live the dreams most prominent within our souls.

In this hour, we are reminded to seek out to be with those who value life and each other with the same veracity as ourselves. We pursue not necessarily perfection, but fulfillment based upon a sense of completion which can be defined by our set of standards.  We live by our own baseline of achievement if you will, recognizing we cannot allow the moments of our lives slip away; but rather live them creating a large volume of memories to be captured within our minds and those with whom we share them.

It is magic hour, the last hour of the day, an hour to dream of possibilities.  It makes no difference if we are alone gazing into the distance or with someone special side by side perhaps holding their hand realizing together the significance of the moment.  Life is sacred to be lived as an emergency before our time of shining on this earth slips away.  Love, and go and live your life.

An excellent image! I agree with you, it's one of the best times of the day!
